Born and raised in Seattle in 1989, now working in Brooklyn, New York. Finding resonance with Dave Hickey's theory that America is, at it's heart, a pagan nation which builds up it's own idols and in turn tears them down, Alessandra's work attempts to go back to the historic start of iconography, remaking it from a feminist perspective.
